residents. This is what makes Penglipuran Village looks very beautiful with the
form of houses that are neat and look symmetrical.
The surroundings of
Penglipuran Village are very clean even this village get the Kalpataru award

village is also crowned as one of the cleanest villages in the world. If you
visit this place, quiet and cool clean atmosphere you will get because of the
location of this village which is quite far from the road and located 700 mdpl
from sea level.
You can walk around
the village by foot because there are no vehicles in this village. Vehicle
parking is located further down and next, you can walk to the village area from
the parking. This village area consists of 3 areas of which the lowest area is
the cemetery, the second higher area is the residential area and the top third
area is the temple where the residents do praying. In the northern part of the
temple, there is a vast bamboo forest, tourists can also visit this bamboo forest
by foot.
Penglipuran Village
was inaugurated as a tourist village around 1995. This place is visited by many
foreign tourists, after having appeared on the national TV show this place
began to be visited by many domestic tourists. In addition to traveling around
enjoying the village atmosphere, tourists can also visit the residential home
and the surrounding residents will greet guests with very friendly.
To enter this tourist
village of Penglipuran, you have to buy a ticket with the price of 30.000
rupiahs for foreign tourists and 15.000 rupiahs for domestic tourists. For
those of you who plan to visit this place, I suggest using the travel services
because this tourist spot located is quite far that is in the northern part of
Bali Island. You can take this place with a distance of 45 kilometers with a
travel time of about 2 hours if you departing from the international airport I
Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali or Kuta Beach.
