Lotus Pond area is often used as a venue for some big music events like Dreamfields that can accommodate approximately 8000 people.


Street Theater is an area where there are many places to eat and restaurant as well as an exit way to home from GWK. In addition to a place to eat you will also find many souvenir shops and a photo studio that can be hired to take pictures. Indra Loka Garden is an area of GWK located on the hill and has breathtaking scenery and a beautiful sunset. This place is usually used for places to hold a wedding or gathering.


Amphitheater is an area that you should also visit where there are staging some Balinese culture such as Barong Dance, Kecak Dance, etc .. The location of GWK Cultural Park is located on Jalan Raya Uluwatu, Ungasan Jimbaran, Badung Regency. Tampak Siring is actually the name of a village from the location of this tourist attraction it is located in Tampak Siring Village Gianyar Regency. The real name of this tourist attraction is Pura Tirta Empul which is a temple in which there is a holy water bath inside it but somehow this tourist spot is more famous by the name Tampak Siring.


The meaning of the word 'Tirta' in the Bali language is holy water, this place is called Pura Tirta Empul because there is a source of holy spring water that appears in this temple area. This holy water is believed by the Balinese people to clean the body and soul of a person from all things that are negative. This is what makes Pura Tirta Empul many visited by people from all over the island of Bali to purify themselves. Many domestic and foreign tourists visit Pura Tirta Empul to see this holy spring water and bathing tradition in this place.



Pura Tirta Empul consists of 3 areas including the first area where there is a large hall that is used as a place to rest. The second area is where this holy water bath, where there are a pool and more than 10 of water shower that comes from the spring. Water that appears is very clear and cold even there is a lot of fish that live in this bath pool. The third area is a temple area where Hindus do praying after completion of self-cleaning.



Tourists who want to enter this place must buy a ticket at the price of 15.000 rupiahs and use the cloth that provided to honor the sacred temple area. Tourists are allowed to take a bath to clean themselves in this pool but there is a ban on women who are menstruating not allowed to enter the second area. For those of you who come during the holy day of Hindus then this place will be crowded with people who want to do the cleaning themselves.


At the top of Pura Tirta Empul area, there is a presidential palace building built by the first Indonesian president in 1957 to 1960 known as Tampak Siring Palace. You can see very clearly the area of presidential palace that very neat and clean from Pura Tirta Empul. Lately, the presidential palace area is no longer open to the public so tourists can not just go inside the palace.


For those of you who plan to visit this place, I suggest using travel services because the distance to Pura Tirta Empul from the international airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali or Kuta Beach can be reached about 1 hour 20 minutes. If you are in the tourist area of Ubud, you can use the taxi to this place because the location is very close. Tampak Siring is a fresh tourist place that you must visit if going to Bali Island.

You can get to this place about 20 minutes from Kuta Beach.


La Plancha is very busy visited by tourists both domestic and foreign around the afternoon at 4 to 6 pm because many people who want to enjoy the sunset in this place. Although La Plancha is crowded in the afternoon, but it is open from 8 am to 1 am in the morning. For those of you who plan to enjoy the sunset at this place should come at around 3 pm so as not to run out of seats.



La Plancha is a unique restaurant and bar with colorful concepts. Parts of the building are made of wood that is painted in multicolor. There is plenty of seating options provided among others inside the restaurant, at the top of the 2nd floor or on the beach in the sand filled with lots of colorful bean bags as seating and there are colorful umbrellas as a complement. So you can enjoy the sunset by relaxing while lying on bean bags on the beach with soft sand.


La Plancha's food menu is mostly Spanish and western cuisine because the owner of this restaurant comes from Spain. The price offered was not too expensive about 30,000 - 80,000 rupiah. Most tourists who visit this place order pizza, potatoes and beer as a complement to enjoy the sunset.



For those of you who have already gone to this place but run out of seats, you can also try a place that has a concept almost the same as La Plancha and they are located very close called The Champlung Bar and Restaurant. Around La Plancha, there are also many lodging or hotels with prices ranging from 300.000 rupiahs because the location of La Plancha is a tourist area of Kuta Seminyak.

The third most important area is a sacred area containing many temples where local resident who are Hindus do worship. The park inside the temple area is very neat and kept clean. The beautiful garden and the location in the middle of the lake used by many tourists to take pictures.


Location of Taman Ayun Temple is located in Mengwi Village Badung Regency with distance of 20 kilometers from international airport of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali and about 1 hour trip time. For those of you who want to visit Taman Ayun Temple in my opinion do not need to stay because the distance is near from airport or city of Denpasar. There are several cafes and restaurants around this parking area and there are also many artshop selling various handicrafts.
